Mobile phones that are always close to the body need electricity, computers that are always close to the body need electricity, all kinds of household appliances need electricity, factories need electricity, residential buildings need electricity. It’s really impossible to find out which one doesn’t need electricity now. Electricity is a great creation. At the same time, electricity also brings unlimited possibilities to our time. I cannot imagine that if human beings do not have electricity, we civilization Jane will not know what kind of land they will become, and whether human beings will experience many years of ups and downs in the dark.

Electricity is so important, how much do you know about it? After electricity is born from coal-fired power plants or hydropower stations, nuclear power plants and other places, it needs to “rise”-increase the pressure-reach the user’s position, and “bend low”-reduce the pressure-to be used by the user after positioning. The purpose of this increase and decrease is to reduce the loss of transmission lines and to meet the production and civil power requirements of 380 V or 220 V at the same time. However, the relationship between ascension and lowering is not that simple. It needs a key link-substation. Only through the substation can our voltage rise and fall.

Modern substation management emphasizes “intelligence” and “automatic control”. This not only makes the management of the substation more efficient and convenient, but also greatly improves the security of the substation. For substation, it needs to complete a series of actions, such as data acquisition, numerical calculation, data distribution, remote equipment monitoring and management and so on. These behaviors have left the past stage of inefficiency and low intelligence, and now substation control can be realized under the new intelligent control solution.

Of course, considering the stable and efficient operation of the substation, it has become a consensus in the industry to choose the embedded computer as the hardware of the control system. After the actual investigation of the technical requirements of the substation, the North China Industrial Control has put forward the technical scheme according to the actual requirements:

1. The embedded computer with x86 architecture is selected as the protocol gateway application to reliably manage multiple devices running different protocols, such as IED,RTU and protection monitoring devices.

2. The embedded computer with x86 architecture is selected as the front-end communication gateway to carry out protocol conversion, front-end computing and data acquisition tasks.

3. The embedded computer of North China industrial control based on x86 architecture is selected as the back-end host of the substation. After using the embedded computer controlled by North China industry, all systems are integrated into the central management system. In substations, engineers and operators of remote dispatching control centers can use remote computers to retrieve data and monitor their systems.

In a word, the above series of substation solutions of industrial control, based on the rich industry experience of industrial control in North China and the consistent “gold quality” of embedded industrial control products, can well solve a series of related technical problems for substations.

In modern society, efficiency and reliability are equally important. The same is true of substations. Through the intelligent control device, we can ensure that the substation is more stable and reliable while running efficiently.
